![]() ![]() A fine and smooth take-off as it is described here The GSDI, the fictional instrument with the white cross on the upper row will help you! With increasing power the right skid leaves at first the ground, then the left one. If it is alright, the heli will pitch up- the more it pitches up, the more it wants to move backwards- so release them until you are only on the rear skids and not moving. While increasing the power the heli will start maybe to move forward-> pull more the stick. So if you start, increase the power slowly and pull the stick. You can download it from here and maybe soon from CVSĭue to the rotor shaft tilt of 5 degrees relative to the ground it hovers with nearly 4-5 degrees pitch-up. Things left to do : instruments, cockpit, rotor modelling and animation etc etc etc. These are the only things I changed, but they had a big influence, so a new versions number. And finally, I fixed the sound! I found out that the bitrate of the.wav-files had a massive influence so the sound softens now with increasing range! Though it is not yet the full sound I know from the real thing, (interior sounds aren't configured ready yet) it sounds very much more now like the real thing! I also fixed a problem on the fuselage regarding object select animation, so the livery select over mp works now again for all possible variants configurations. So I computed the rotor shaft tilt in the fdm totally wrong which influenced the hover attitude massive in a negative way. In the last days I hunted some bugs successfully, so there is a v0.6 Release for CVS-version of FGFS. Thanks for the comment, I will try to solve so much as I can. But I'm not happy yet with the pilot positions, maybe a better position can help with reading. Panel is photorealistic and every instrument has 256x256px texture like so many others in FGFS. I can remember that it worked on the bo105, but I'm not sure. I didn't try to reset after crash, but I take a look. I think it is maybe too stable, as I know that the real thing seems to be very sensitive on inputs. The heli is relativ stable- due to the fenestron, maybe too strong downwash and of course the P/R Jaw-SAS. I'm on it to get her realistic as I can make her ( now more real datas available ) It is more a tuning of the airfoil in yasim. The OH1 by tat shows this above 150Kn really good. You will only notice a buffering and shaking and a sudden pitching and rolling of the aircraft. In real life there is now real sound warning for velocity overspeed. ![]() My main concern is that I have to completely restart FG if I crash it's much more time-consuming than a simple reset. ![]() The only thing I don't like is that I would have to zoom in to read most of the instruments on the panel, which could lead to a difficult situation. I haven't tried it with a reset that did not follow a crash. Also, after a crash and reset, the engines cannot be started again. The sound that normally occurs at speeds at and exceeding the Vne seems to have been removed, yet the heli becomes very unstable, as exepcted. Redneck wrote:Okay, I got the new one and it's amazing! There's just a few things I'd like to make sure you know about. ![]()
